Hey, future Bulldogs! My name is Lauren Porter, and I'm from Hurley, MS. After high school, I attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and then transferred to Mississippi State where I graduated with both my bachelor's and master's degree. I loved my transfer experience and I cannot wait to share it with you as we walk through the transfer process!

Davis Wade Stadium! I LOVE hearing thousands of people ringing their cowbells in unison!
The highlight of your experience at MSU:
Being on MSU's Pom Squad - there's nothing like cheering on the Bulldogs at different sporting events!
What is your favorite student organization & why?
Greek life! Being a Kappa Delta gave me leadership development, academic success, and most importantly, lifelong friendships!
What is something you must do while visiting Starkville?
Eat as many times as you possibly can! Anytime I'm visiting Starkville, I start making my food wishlist weeks in advance!
Something about you that surprises people:
I'm obsessed with alligators and crocodiles! Growing up Steve Irwin was my idol, now I love to watch his children carry on his legacy!
